Playgrounds

School's out for summer, so it must be time for our neighborhood playground program to begin. With 12 locations throughout the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore, it's easy for you to find the right place to play. Adult supervised and geared to provide a well-rounded program of physical play, arts and crafts and old fashioned fun for children 5 to 12 years of age, each playground is a wonderful place to enjoy the summer. The season opens on June 24th and closes August 20th with most facilities open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Playgrounds can be found in Brighton Park, Mang Park, Curtis Park, Kenilworth Park, Ellwood Park, Thurston Park, Dexter Terrace, Irvington Park and Glendale School. Also, Lincoln Arena & Sheridan Parkside will be open 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Kenney Field Playground will be open 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mobile Playground
We also operate two Mobile Playgrounds which brings programming to those neighborhoods that do not have a facility nearby. The Mobile Playgrounds are vans equipped with plenty of equipment and craft supplies that will provide adult-supervised activities according to the following schedule:
