Community Care Day
Participants meet at the Kenmore Community Center. Scouts, churches and many other community service groups will come together to help their Town of Tonawanda and Kenmore neighbors. The 10th Annual CommUNITY CARE Day will find volunteers cleaning parks and roadways, working in churches, cleaning homes, cutting lawns and assisting the sick, elderly and needy. Volunteers will meet at the Kenmore Community Center, 135 Wilbur Avenue in Kenmore. Event sponsors include the Ken-Ton Kiwanis and Zonta Club of Kenmore. Volunteer groups who would like to participate in this fun and worthwhile day (or who have an organization they’d like to support) are asked to contact Dennis at 831-1001.
