Ice Skating Lessons
Our “Learn to Skate” program provides ice skating lesson at Lincoln Arena throughout the Ice Arena Season. Private instructors contracted by the Youth, Parks and Recreation Department offer their professional services every Saturday and Sunday. These instructors are responsible for coordinating all registration for lessons, so payment is made directly to them. All registration and payments must be made in person at the times designated below.
The “learn to Skate” program teaches the fundamentals of skating for advancement to hockey, recreational skating or figure skating and is available to residents 3 and over. Skating lessons start in mid-October and continue through March. Lessons will be offered during three sessions throughout the season.
Class sizes are limited, and classes and instructors are subject to change. There will be no make ups or refunds for classes missed, unless it is due to the arena being closed.
Highlighting this program is our Annual Winterfest Ice Show in which some of the “Learn to Skate” students participate. From snowplows to axels, our staff of qualified instructors can help you. For general information call 831-1001.
